Staff Consultation

As we prepare for the full merger of our senior schools in September 2025, we want to keep you informed about the steps we are taking to ensure a smooth transition. One of the key areas we are focussing on is the streamlining of staff in various departments at Stanfield and the senior schools.

To this end, we will be undertaking a consultation process with staff in departments where this streamlining has not yet taken place. This consultation process will involve discussions with the affected teaching staff and will commence on Friday 24th January.

We want to assure you that the process will be handled fairly and transparently, and with careful consideration given to all involved. Initially, staff will have the opportunity to apply for voluntary redundancy and the process is expected to be fully concluded prior to the end of term, at which point we will be able to share more information with you.

Separately, we appreciate that some parents may be concerned about the potential departure of valued staff members. Please be assured that all current staff will remain in their roles until the end of the academic year. This will ensure continuity and stability for our pupils during this transition period, and will not have any impact on class sizes as we move forward. Our goal, as ever, remains to deliver excellence in the classroom, ensuring that our pupils continue to receive the highest-quality education.

We understand that changes can bring about uncertainty, and we are committed to handling this process with the utmost care and consideration for all involved. Our goal is to ensure that the quality of education and support for our pupils remains our top priority throughout this transition.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work towards creating a unified and stronger educational environment for our pupils.

Thank you for your continued trust and cooperation.
